Membership Rules

MEMBERSHIP RULES

We ask that all of our members adhere to the rules below while enjoying membership at the Boys & Girls Club. Rules are strictly enforced for the safety and well-being of all our club members, staff, and volunteers. These rules apply, unless otherwise stated, to members while on Club premises, on Club related outings, or in Club vans.

  • Members must bring their Membership Card to the Club every day. If a member loses or damages their card, a new card will be issued and a fee of $2.00 will be charged. Fees must be paid by next business day.
  • Members must check in and out upon entering and exiting the Club by presenting their membership card.
  • Members must remain within designated areas.
  • Members are responsible for any valuables/money brought to the Club.
  • Fighting and stealing will result in immediate suspension.
  • Snacks and drinks may be consumed in designated areas only.
  • Gum is not permitted at the Club. Running is not permitted in the Club except in the gym.
  • Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times at the Club. Shoes with heels will not be allowed.
  • Respect and courtesy is expected at all times.
  • Members must enter and leave the Club through the front of the building.
  • Inappropriate clothing worn by members during Club hours is not allowed.
  • No running is allowed in the Club except in designated areas as the Gym.
  • All jewelry must be removed before participating in gym or other physical activities.
  • Office phones may only be used by members in the event of an emergency.
  • Members are not allowed to use cell phones at the Club. If your child is seen with or using a cell phone, the staff will ask the member to put it away. Repeated violation of this will result in suspension.
  • Members are allowed in the building only while the Club is open.
  • Members must take care of Club equipment and furniture.
  • Members are responsible for cleaning up after themselves.
  • Members will not borrow money from staff, volunteers, or other members.
  • Members will not bring outside fundraisers into the Club.
  • Only three members are allowed in the restroom at a time.
